Shopbee Cancellation Policy

At Shopbee, we understand that sometimes circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your order. Our cancellation policy aims to provide a seamless and transparent process that accommodates the needs of both buyers and sellers.

Before Cancelling Your Order

Please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions:

  1. Irreversibility of Cancellations

    • Once an order cancellation has been successfully completed, it cannot be restored or reversed. Ensure that you are certain before proceeding with the cancellation.
  2. Vouchers and Discounts

    • Any vouchers, discounts, or promotional codes used for a canceled order will not be revalidated for future orders. They become void once the order is canceled.
  3. Price and Availability

    • Shopbee cannot guarantee that the price, product availability, shipping fees, or any other elements of a canceled order will remain the same for any future orders. Price changes and stock availability are subject to market conditions.
  4. Refund Processing

    • Refund requests will be processed within 48 hours of the cancellation approval. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 15 business days, depending on your bank or financial institution’s processing times.
  5. Refund Amount

    • The refund will reflect the net amount you paid, excluding any voucher amounts or store credits used during the transaction. For example, if you used a RM10 voucher on a RM50 purchase and canceled, you would receive a refund of RM40.
  6. Cancellation Processing

    • In cases where a cancellation cannot be processed online due to system limitations or other reasons, please contact our customer service team for assistance. They will guide you through the necessary steps.
  7. Fraud Prevention Measures

    • To maintain a safe shopping environment, Shopbee reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased on high-demand deals. Additionally, we may cancel an order if fraudulent activity is suspected or detected.
  8. Cancellation Fees

    • Shopbee does not charge cancellation fees. If you have made a payment on your orders, a full refund will be processed upon a successful cancellation request.
  9. Cancellation Confirmation

    • After submitting your online cancellation request, you will see a confirmation message stating, "Your cancellation was successful." This indicates that we have received your request. Shopbee will aim to process your request within 60 minutes.

1. Cancellation by the Buyer

1.1 Cancellation Window

  • Buyers can cancel their orders within 24 hours of placing them. To initiate the cancellation process, log in to your Shopbee account, navigate to the "My Orders" section, and click on the "Cancel Order" button next to the relevant order.

1.2 Processed or Shipped Orders

  • If your order has already been processed or shipped, you may not be able to cancel it through the website. In such cases, please reach out to our customer support team at support@shopbee.com.my for further assistance.

1.3 Post-Cancellation Requests

  • Cancellation requests made after the 24-hour window or after the order has been dispatched will be subject to the seller's cancellation policy. Some sellers may offer options for returns or exchanges instead of cancellations in such situations.

2. Cancellation by the Seller

2.1 Seller-Initiated Cancellations

  • In rare cases, a seller may need to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances, inventory discrepancies, or other valid reasons. If your order is canceled by the seller, you will be notified via email or phone, and a full refund will be processed to your original payment method.

2.2 Service Standards

  • Shopbee is committed to maintaining high service standards for sellers to minimize the need for order cancellations. Sellers are encouraged to fulfill orders promptly and communicate with buyers in case of any issues.

3. Refunds for Canceled Orders

3.1 Processing of Refunds

  • Once your order cancellation request is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. The processing time for refunds may vary depending on your payment provider and can take up to 5 to 15 business days.

3.2 Refund Amounts

  • If the order was canceled by the seller, the refund will include the full order amount, including any applicable taxes and shipping fees.
  • If the order was canceled by the buyer, the refund amount may be subject to deductions for transaction fees or handling charges as specified in the seller's policy.

4. Exceptions

4.1 Exclusions

  • Certain products or services may be excluded from our standard cancellation policy due to their nature, customization, or health and safety regulations. In such cases, the seller's specific cancellation policy will apply.

4.2 Pre-Orders and Back-Ordered Items

  • Different cancellation terms may apply to pre-orders and back-ordered items. These terms will be communicated to buyers during the checkout process, ensuring you are fully informed.
